US account to sell in UK
 

I am a US citizen working in the UK. Am I able to use my US account to sell and ship in the UK? I would like to be paid in USD. Is it as simple as adding international shipping to the listing or would I need to convert the account to UK account?

if your account is registered in the US and you list an item on ebay UK with location being UK then you will be blocked immediately until you provide your UK VAT number

if you do not want to register a business you would need to list items and write a foreign item location , in this case however you would have less buyers , lower selling prices and ebay would automatically charge 20% VAT on top of any sales price

if you want to be paid in US dollars,you would have to list on Ebay USA and then make the listings available to UK buyers,paying a nickel extra would do .
when it comes to shipping,your domestic (USA) shipping would be higher while your UK shipping would be lower.
Your Uk buyer would end up paying you US dollars,exchange fee is on them.
Is your EBAY USA account accepting MP payment and linked to a US bank account?
