Fraudulent EB INR request

Customer has received his item via UPS courier, tracking clearly leads to his address. I tried to reach him via ebay messages and SMS in order to confirm if everything is fine right after the delivery has been confirmed. He was silent for 3 weeks. Today he has opened INR request. So weird that he never followed the tracking (and the item is pretty much expensive) that said the item has been delivered 3 weeks ago and he never asked where it is. Seems as a clear fraud to me. Any chance I can win such case on ebay? Tracking shows delivery to his address, and shipping label also has the same information.

you need to test how it works on MP. at least with paypal I always lost cases when I provided tracking and the customer replied that they never received an item despite tracking

It is not MP, it is sale made before MP. Request opened on EB, not PP

Please stop doing that. Feedback is useless and people don't like being nagged by sellers that follow up.

And yes, you can win the case. I've never lost a case like that. If you do, at first, don't give up.

You gave up too easily. Haven't lost a case like that in 20 years.

What's the amount of the sale?
because if it's above $750 you need to have signature confirmation.

They are fine to release funds without signature confirmation, but need it in case if customers opens INR case? Seems they just want to pay customer from their own pocket.

It is great. It may also depend on the carrier , at least with royal mail recorded I was losing cases despite tracking

Re: Fraudulent EB INR request

if the carrier is UPS,MAY BE UPS has signature from the buyer, have you gone to its website and see the tracking results.
dont just give up,upload the tracking and see what Ebay does, the robot would use the tracking number you uploaded and go to UPS website to verify the status.
Robot may not look for signature, human does,so you may win the case,if buyer knows about signature requirement,he will appeal and a human rep will then look for signature.

you are in the US and this makes you privileged with tracked shipments comparing to many countries. I ship some of my items by USPS and when I provide tracking the system can check and they even send an email to the buyer telling them that the item has arrived and suggesting to close the case. but in the UK for example it does not work with the Royal Mail

Re: Fraudulent EB INR request

I used UPS Express. However, without signature request, my bad.
