Obliged to stealth for currency ?
 

Hi Everyone,
1-We all know it's hard now to stealth in the UK but what's about legit seller from other country.

I mean, if i have a french company, i am obliged to create my account on Ebay.fr to validate the managed payment right ? (they will ask iban for bank account , not the sortcode like in UK and it will be a € account)

If i sell on ebay.co.uk after all details are ok, i will sell in £ and ebay will convert in € and take his percentage

Are we obliged to create an account on ebay.co.uk to put an UK bank account and dont have conversion done by Ebay ? They will not be able to verifiy french information and convert the account into french no ?

Foreigners are extremely unwelcome on co.uk.

But they will charge currency change if we come with our real country :x

this entirely depends on the country of residence , it is meaningless which site you register on

stealth is extremely hard to impossible with Adyen but easy to do on payoneer because stealth docs can pass on payoneer

If i have revolut or transferwise and i want to put the account of an UK account to avoid ebay's percentage on fees it is possible ? if i am french i mean (so with real details ... because ebay doesn't accept stealth) :x

you will always be led to the MP registration page of your country of residence and for France it is EUR only

So if you are not in UK you are obliged to have conversion fees, it's nice to have transferwise ...

it is like with banks , you are tied to the country of residence. ebay site of account opening may play a role in some other instances but not for MP purposes
