what bank usually used in UK MP
 

Hi, I am from China, and I am very experienced on the market.
However the MP storm blowed everything in recently months, all business are destroyed, things became very difficult now.
So, I want to check with you guys?
1. What frequently-used banks do you used for UK MP?
2. I want to open a real UK company with real bank account in UK, is it workable?
3. Should I better find a local UK friend to open the company together?

I don't know the specifics of your business and country. But don't you manage to open an account in your country and use that account in co.uk?

First, China new account is also very difficult to apply, most new account will be MC013 or other at beginning, then I need call them, then they ask me supply documents, and the decision is on them.
Second, even I pass the verify, new account don't have the qualification to sell UK local products, only can see products shipped from China, and when you rearch USD1000 sell amount, then you can apply to them, and it still will be long procedure.
Moreover, a VAT number must be required.
So it is painful.

it is only possible to run UK MP if you are resident so if you are located in China you can look for a partner who is a resident and would be willing to open companies and bank accounts as company director

UK banks are very strict and it is nearly impossible to open accounts there if you are not resident. Now after Brexit they even started closing down accounts of EU residents who were allowed in before
