Bumping eBay limits by Starter Shop possible?

I am stuck on less than 20 items every month, and every month I patiently wait to see if they bump me to a higher limit. I am selling the max amount currently.

In the old days, I would be bumped consistently, and now I have several accounts that are unlimited. It is just this one account that is 1 year old that never gets its limits increased.

As far as I can recall, getting starter eBay shops at $7.95 (or so) did help with the bumping. Is that still the case?

Maybe, I never did. Call and ask for higher limits, rinse and repeat another day.

Some accounts get stuck and won't have the limits rise at all until you call in and request it. I don't know why, but I had a 1000 limit account years ago which was stuck at 1k until I called. On accounts like that the limits will start to rise on their own after you've called in the first time.

Some accounts get auto increases, some get stuck and some will never go up no matter what, this is why we just have multiple accounts and not call in because calling in increases the risk.

This is true the risk goes up but it works on sleeping accts best. i never ask on live or soon to be live accts.

Thanks for all the answers but I can not call in.
I will have to attempt a starter store and see if they bump me. If they do not, I will use it as a good way to initiate a conversation with support, IE "what good is a starter store if I can not sell more than X".

Gonna try that and report back
