Selling Digital Items On eBay?
 

Haven't got on here since the new eBay changes (meaning no PayPal and eBay processing your payments an d handling all your info) I am trying to sell digital items on ebay, which is what I used to do but transitioned to physical items. I have my own ebay under my name and everything seems to be working fine with no hiccups. I still sell digital items just not on ebay but I have noticed some sellers have began selling digital items again and they are killing it! have the limitations on digital items been taken off? could I start selling them again on my ebay? need some insight if anyone has some.

No the restrictions on selling digital goods have most certainly not been removed and it is still as difficult as ever to sell those - especially starting the selling activity on a new acct.
You can try if you wish but dont expect it to be a smooth ride.

They sell a lot of things on ebay. The algorithms are not perfect. Ebei periodically skips prohibited goods. Some people use it.

Thanks for all the help. Unfortunately I will have to take a chance and start selling digital goods, much of the profit is online I just hate that they don't have a way to efficiently tack orders. Guess we will have to wait a couple of more years when digital items become as popular or even more then physical ones (which will happen if we keep going down this road)
