Using family member name and address for managed payments

Hi everyone,

If I use a family member name and address with their permission can I use my own bank account not verify through trustly this time? Just enter sort code and account number?

Also if I receive payments into the account can I re change the address as family member not living in same city as me and if I post parcels from my city don’t want return address to be in another city if that makes sense.

Appreciate your replies.

Yes, you can use your own bank account.

I also have a friends name and address and ebay have asked me to move to MP. Can I just use a bank with my name ? Or do I need a bank account with his name?

You can use your own bank. I never had a problem with mismatched names using micro deposits verification.

Thanks guys
So basically I select sole trader, then us friends address, name and DOB and when it asks for bank I use my account and my name?
Also the DOB isn’t correct, does that matter and shall I use correct DOB for the MP?

It’s also asking for photo ID, does that mean it’s a lost cause?

you need to provide photo id , just use your real details , the problem would likely be fixed within a few hours
