Changing eBay email address?
 

I've made an eBay account just recently, with a verified payoneer account and passed through the verification process via phone, it's now working just fine and was wondering what would happen if I change the primary E-mail address? (I forgot the E-mail's password that's why)

Since it's pretty new I think I'll get restricted again? Or should I wait until the account starts getting sales? Any advice would be appreciated

Doubt it will matter although leaving is long as possible would make sense I guess.
It's almost a certainty they'll send a link to your current/old email address to facilitate the change.

they do not send a link to the old email but you need to have access to old email and phone

if access to email is lost you at least need phone because after change of email ebay may block your account and ask you to verify old email and reset password. and if email access is lost and there is no phone either the account would be lost

the monkeys at the customer support would not even try to verify your personal details to restore access , they would just tell you that you need to have phone or email otherwise open a new account and when you try to open a new one they will shut you down

I have access to the phone number, but Email is lost for good.
I think I should let the account age a little bit, then change E-mail and if anything happens would the phone number alone be enough to verify my ownership? Thanks

phone should be sufficient , if it is a landline you may need to call in
