I wrote a detailed appeal letter to Ebay about the suspension and included copies of my identity, business address, invoices from suppliers, shipping records, pictures of some of my inventory, a link to my Amazon seller account with excellent history, our corporate registration.
I figured that if a reasonable human read the letter they could see that the automated ban system got it wrong.
I sent it by FedEx to the eBay California HQ in December.
No reply at all. Just ignored. |

No reply at all. Just ignored. | ebay do mass processing by bots and agents located in the third world. no one will be checking your docs. just open 50 accounts and develop them , some will go down , others will survive |

Personally I'm just tired of eBay when I got suspended years ago I just don't even bother and boot up 3-5 accounts for every 1 account suspended. |

ebay don't care if your details are genuine and how established you are. this may play a role later down the road if you start receiving large turnovers but on new accounts they really don't check any of this
they just created a system under which people get suspended randomly and anyone can be hit with this so that legitimate sellers are forced to give up and fraudsters of various types would come through
they just reduce verification to bot programming and opinion of their reps based in the philippines etc. so that eventually legitimate sellers will get suspended a few times and will go elsewhere while fraudsters will learn how this works and will be opening accounts in massive quantities knowing that a portion will be certain to pass this "verification"
the problem that most legitimate sellers have is that they want to run the business honestly but ebay do not behave honestly suspending people randomly without any real checks so eventually you either forget about honesty and start behaving like a crook since you are dealing with crooks or you will have to give up
the good news is that you are not blacklisted so you can apply with your real details over and over again |
What do you mean they are not black listed? Thanks! |
