Ebay Restriction Without MC011 or MC013 Message
 

Hi Everyone,
Yesterday eBay removed all of my listings and sent me a message as followed:
Hello ****,
We placed a temporary restriction on your selling account because we noticed activity that we believe is a risk to our community. To verify your account, please contact us by clicking on the link below (you may be asked to sign in):
http://ocsnext.ebay.co.uk/ocs/cusr?q...main=email1505

The restriction will remain on your account until we verify your information. Until then, you can’t create new listings. Any active listings were removed and placed in your unsold folder in My eBay. You’ll find details of any listings we removed below. We also credited any associated fees to your account.

Once we verify your account information, you can start selling again right away. You’ll also be able to relist items from your unsold folder by selecting Relist to the right of the listing.

We appreciate your help verifying your account as quickly as possible.

The message is not a MC011 or MC013. I never saw a kind of message like this before. Anyone knows how to reinstate it? Thanks a lot!

Ive had this before. IIRC it was triggered by weird **** going on with my location/perceived location (using an IP reserved for a diff country, or changing registration to another country, or possible issues with risky listings. In the first case, I had to call in and explain the discrepancy. In the second, I actually wasn't attempting to list anything risky, but they thought I was. Had to explain why I was on ebay, what I was trying to sell, where I got it from, etc. That account ended up getting suspended, but only because I was trying to manipulate feedback. Accounts that get this are on a very short leash, and if its a new account, you might be better off just making a new one anyway
