IP Burger Residential Plan Unusual Activity?
 

Hi,

I'm trying to get back on Ebay / Etsy using all new details etc and im using IP Burgers residential plan on firefox browser extension. However i do keep getting the google security thing pop up saying we noticed unusual activity over your network, this .... https://techcrawlr.com/google-unusual-traffic/

i purchased a uk ebay account from one of the authorized sellers on here, he sent the log in on saturday, i have new pc user, ip burger residential plan. I logged in just to check the account was ok and then today when i logged in again it was MC113, i didn't do anything to the account except log in so is IP Burger causing this ban you think with the unsual activity over the network? Thanks alot

you bought an unverified new account , such an account will always get MC113 so you need to call in and ask to reinstate

And no, the residential IP itself won't cause this.

About Ebay sorry, just trying to figure out the cause for the ban or what ebay picked up. Any ideas?

The account was verified with 1 active listing. It's not the initial ban email that all accounts get it says no way to appeal. Seller said he will look into it but lets say if he sends a replacement i can only see the same thing happening again. I can't see where im going wrong? Other than ebay seeing that the account has logged into a different IP without cookies & the seller says this will not cause a flag.

it is because you don't know how new ebay MP works , an account on ebay can only be verified after at least 3-4 months of first+second+third listing but likely after 6 months and after the MP verification has been passed which only happens on personal accounts between 800-2000 pounds of turnover

and additionally ebay would expect that you sell on a regular basis , meaning that you can not do a couple of listings and let the account inactive for half a year so eventually verified accounts means many successful sales

anything that does not fulfill the above conditions is just a new unverified account which will be suspended temporarily with a probability of nearly 100% and permanently with a probability of 70%-90%

I see, so basically the chances of any of these accounts working are slim :(

ebay would like to have new sellers that sell on a regular basis , whose identities are verified and whose selling activity has been examined so that ebay know what they are up to

a brandnew account with an active listing is none of that so the chances of a permanent suspension are high

that is why there is only one solution , you open an ebay account and sell items , show activity and selling history , show that you are a genuine seller

all those accounts that are opened in bulk for a quick buck will all go down , either now or in the near future

sorry guys, but poster has right...probably you received a used -abused(shared) ip address from ipburger.. when i did not use ip burger i have never received mc113...sometimes they will give you clean ip... then you will not receive suspension..i think the best option is your own mobile sim ip.

As long as 1000s of sellers keep trying to use the same service over again to create multiple accounts the majority of the IPs will become unusable in the long run...in my opinion...no such thing as a fresh IP only an IP that hasn't been used in a while

That's what i was thinking. I do have a mobile personal hotspot i can use but is it safe to use a mobile hotspot over multiple stealth accounts as the i.p address does not change? I know you used to get a fresh i.p every time you turned your phone off & on but that doesn't work for me any more.

It seems i made a mistake. Seller i purchased Ebay account from says it was MC113 because i need a residential proxy and not a vpn. So i just logged into I.P burger to check and it's a dedicated proxie i have not residential.

So dedicated I.P is not good for ebay can someone please confirm for me?

I've been running all of my eBay accounts on dedicated (non residential) IP's for 6 years now.
