restriction of your selling activities to Germany

Hey, got a message from eBay about

Please note that not providing your valid VAT ID and correct data within 14 day(s), will result in a restriction of your selling activities to Germany. For any further questions, please contact your tax advisor.

Will I get restricted only In Germany or in General? I am from Latvia

Ok, I got it. What about UK, because 90% of my customers are from UK. Also this restriction will be updated every financial period? Maybe you know the dates of eBay financial year?

I think such a restriction is for good and will not be lifted anymore unless you provide VAT ID

if the customers are in the UK you should be charged 20% VAT automatically and there are no thresholds to consider if you are registered outside the UK and your item location is outside the UK as well

Hi, so today my ebay.de account has been restricted as I wasnt able to provide VAT number. However according to received email looks like this sale restriction is valid for ebay.de only. Also if I would use another ebay site my listings wont be visible for buyers from Germany.
