Hi Everyone,

Restore your selling privileges: Action required

Just purchased an eBay account that is aged over 60 days. listed 4 items, which were dollhouses then 30mins later got an email that said "We restricted your account"

"We placed a temporary restriction on your selling account because we noticed activity that we believe is a risk to our community. To restore your access. you'll need to contact us as soon as possible so that we can verify your information"

I do know that this normal after listing items. can this be resolved over chat without calling in?

You can try to chat with the agent. The agent will send you a link to upload documents(proof of identify and proof of address ). But be careful, the account will easily to be suspended again once you relist items.

Been getting this lately to on several accounts that are new. Pass the first initial listing which stays up. Then I wait about two weeks or so to list another item. About an hour later, they restrict it.

This has also happened on accounts that were seasoned with several sales as well and were 6 months old accounts.

Trying to narrow down everything from IP, to browser, machine, phone. But most accounts that I submit a second listing that stay up have similarities between the ones that got hit.

yes, not much he can do, account is gone, think ebay is dead now, I'm focusing on my Shopify Store for Drop Shipping and best part about it you can sync it with Google and add UPC's like ebay. I already have sales coming in made over $1500 in a week, hopefully it picks up more soon.

this is a soft restriction, doesn't require docs. more of a major flag on your account than anything else. usually just requires a chat with an agent where they go over the whole "what are you selling, where are you getting it from", etc

got this on an account back in august and then shortly threafter was suspended for feedback manipulation. also got this on a recent account few days ago, not sure what triggered it. however, I do believe that in spite of these accounts usually getting reinstated, they are very sensitive to perceived violations and will very often get suspended. personally I plan to let this account sit for a few months before I try listing on it again.

How much did you spend on ads? How many SKUs and what app are you using for the Google shopping integration?

don't spend any money on ads, I did that for a while on Facebook but wasn't getting no where, but my Facebook page for my business has about 5,000 followers

It's working pretty well, made $800 in one day, the Google Shopify app is where it's at though lots of traffic
