Name change when going personal -> biz
 

I have a few accounts I made over the Summer when I was unaware how MP was working, all made with stealth details (including bogus last 4 SSN). Within days of hitting 3k, they get hit with ID verification requests. A few others are still under the threshold, but about to hit 3k, and I'd like to save them if possible (without going the creative route... if that would even work)

I have 2 options Im considering, both involve upgrading to a biz account and using legit EIN. In the first, I use real details for the shareholder. My concern here is they flag the account for name change which not only burns the account, but also the authentic credentials used for the shareholder. Incl last 4 SSN etc.


The second, I keep the details on the account and simply hope they ONLY check the EIN for authenticity and not the stakeholder details, which Id keep unchanged (aka bogus). Anyone know if they check both or only the EIN?
