Switching ebay stealth account to business account
 

I have an eBay stealth account with a friends personal information but i am now over the 1099 threshold . I made an LLC and was going to switch the account to a business one so that the tax forms are sent to the LLC rather than the ssn. Upon switching to the business account I was asked to provide information like name , ssn , and date of birth as well as company beneficiaries to verify the LLC. Should I put the legitimate business information ? (Mind you my ssn and details were previously banned on eBay and these are the details that the LLC is ran with ) or keep my friends information on there . Will they check this information? Or should I just put the legitimate business information with my name and banned ssn?. Please help me out guys I appreciate you .

Your friend's information will do fine with ebay to keep your account going but is he happy for you to do so? There are a lot of implication here. You should get your friend's consent and maybe an agreement in writing. Things may get out of hane when the account starts pulling in good money.
