Old eBay account in phake name found
 

Hi,

i found an old account i used about 7 years ago. It has fees to be paid but that is not the main problem, a selling account of 7 years ago and approx 400 feedback as a seller worth more than the remaining fees

The problem is the account is in phake name

Now, the dashboard ask me to register the MP

What should i do, insert real details only in MP side, or update the whole eBay account registry?

It’s definitely worth changing the account details over to your details for managed payments and if it works pay the fees and start selling again but I would try and change everything over before paying any fees.

Is the account not suspended for not paying fees?

I noticed reading the mails, that togheter the suspension for non paid fees, there was a temporary limitation deny the selling part, they were asking for ID and eventually proof of adress, and a photo of the items sold near the doc

This is a easy limitation to pass, but i think i left this account for the fees and start sell with others and then forget it, so i never dealt with that

What to do now? i am thinking to write or phone in customer care, and ask if i can be reinstate and after that obv pay the fees and after some days change acc registration details and than go for MP apply

What do you think?

If I was in your shoes I would message eBay on live chat I would say I would like to start selling on my eBay account again however I have to pay fees to start selling if I pay my fees can I start selling again?

Do you have any other accounts in your real details registered to managed payments? I’ve heard on this forum that sellers on here who had stealth details prior to managed payments would change over to their real details and pass managed payments.

EBay registry it’s not what I’ve done myself but I’ve heard numerous sellers on here change all details from stealth to managed payments and have passed it.

The question is if you already have a managed payment account the last thing you want to do is pay fees to change everything over to your real info and then potentially lose everything. If you don’t have an account in your real info and eBay will allow you to start selling again once you pay your fees definitely worth giving it a go.

managed to lift the temporary limitation placed 2 year ago on this account, sent creative docs and creative invoice about the item " should i sell ".

Now i have to face MP.

For summarize :

eBay registry is in phake name
MP doesn't accept phake identities

Change only MP details or both? This is the problem

On my end, I have kept stealth eb info while doing MP real info

Make that, now got 0 item and 0 eur selling limit....
Obv i'm stucked here...customer care say can't do nothing bla bla...

Got a suspension message? Seems common to call/chat to have it lifted

No i did not get any email. Call them in this morning, they obviously see searching codice fiscale of that person that the person is already banned from eBay. But i really think 0 limit is not related to that, otherwise i should get a suspension email

I few words they don't want to lift them because see this. I will wait

Do not change any info. Just buy a phake passport and register for managed payments.
Changing info will raise flags and get the account suspended.
Trust me, I've lost a 6 and a 8-year old account like that...

Can't do that...we are in EU and we have VAT code for the company or here in italy we have CODICE FISCALE for the private people, they check that...

STEALTH IS GONE for EU
