prepaid Credit Cards for Canadian Ebayers
*Please note i am not endorsing or selling prepaid credit cards*
Most of the info i found on precredit cards are mainly for US Ebay.
So i did a little research and found a couple that are quick to use in Canada.
1). prepaidedge - This was a really great inexpensive service. Registeration was online. You paid via paypal or money order etc etc. And it was only $10. No fee for the card itself because $10 is loaded on the card when you recieve and it takes a week to get (i guess it varys depending on location).
However, apparently the company is in transition and they are now Horizonpluscard. BUT you still have to order them through prepaidedge and then register it on Horizonpluscard when you recieve it. But online payment through paypal has been discontinued (hmm i wonder why :))...the price is still the same though.
2) Visa gift card - you can get these at citizensbank.ca or Macs conviences store at any location across Canada. However i dont think they are reloadable. You can either get a $50 card or $100 card and the price is approx. $4. You get it instantly.
3) Money Mart - They offer the Titanium Mastercards. Its quick, sign up is really fast and you need 2 government id. You can get card instantly and the customized card with your name is mailed within 10 business days or so. The cost is about $20 + the load ammount (first load is free) |
