Immediate Selling Restriction Multiple Accounts
 

So I opened 3 selling accounts on a VPN (NordVPN). Exactly 30 mins upon opening the selling account I received a email. Your EBay has been restricted please contact us on all 3 accounts.

Could this be from opening the selling accounts too soon? As soon as I created the account I opened the selling accounts.

After calling they asked for identity verification questions. (Where I lived, who are my relatives, what kind of car I drive). I couldn’t answer none of them correctly 😂😂. The accounts are dead.

Is eBay catching on to VPNs?

NordVPN is not adequate for stealth but regardless of that just about every new account gets restricted and hit with a document request shortly after MP registration or after the first sale... If the VPN didn't screw you should be easy enough to solve.

Avoid those VPN's Nord is a no go. When in doubt, use mobile and create on your phone. You may have luck using mobile tethering with your laptop/desktop, but you would have to test that since I had no luck.

Also, if they are asking for identity questions, who are you creating the accounts under?

What limits do you get after you create the seller account?

I bought some identities online. Their name, dob, address and ssn included. The limits are 250/25,000 a month. I connect to a VPN that’s nearest to their address. After calling and pretending to be them I failed the question identity verifications and eBay said the accounts are indefinitely restricted. They ask questions that only the person can answer.

Whoa - this is dangerous. Did you use the identities to create the accounts? Or were the accounts sold to you with the identity info?

Update: Out of 3 accounts. The 1st 2 accounts I called they asked for identity questions and I failed and got them indefinitely restricted. The 3rd account I called and they did not ask for identity questions. They just asked questions like what I’m selling and when do I plan on shipping it. And boom your account has been restored. I don’t understand. All 3 accounts I did everything exactly the same. The only thing I did different on the 3rd account was wait 3 days before calling. I’m going to wait and see if this account is getting suspended. I’ve seen here on the forum after getting your account restored it gets suspended like a week later.

I'd be more worried about how much jail time you'll serve purchasing stolen identities on line...and using them than whether or not Ebay will suspend your account.

3rd one in the past 48 hours who thinks identity theft and fraud are games to be played... You broke multiple state and federal laws...

That’s what I’m thinking.. it’s the agents you talk to.. everything was done exactly the same. Still no suspension after getting account restored. It’s been 2 days
