Using My Dad's Account
 

I sold on ebay from 2002 to 2016. From 2002 to 2011 I lived with my parents in house A. Both my dad and I had ebay accounts. He may have sold something in the very early days of ebay but not while I was selling. I moved out in 2011 moved to house B, then in 2015 moved to house C where I was banned in 2016.

I am forming an LLC and I am wondering if I can either

1. Use my dad's account to sell -- use my new EIN or

2. create a new account with him as the owner --like an officer of my company -- using my LLC's EIN so he won't be taxed. I'm assuming eBay will ask for identification, so I would have him use license.

Do you think they'll ban this account because I lived at that address at one point as an eBay seller? We have the same last name.

And yes, I know it's not advisable to trust a family member in business. I honestly wouldn't even try with anyone else. My dad is trustworthy. He helps me for free in my amazon business. I don't want to go stealth, I did that for awhile and I don't feel comfortable with it.

In all of the scenarios I know I'll have to use a VPN, new PC, never login to my existing ebay account, and all the rest of the stealth stuff.

I can use his address, my commercial address (never linked to ebay) or a UPS mailbox (never linked to ebay). I'm assuming his address or the commercial ones are the way to go.

Think about it this way... if you used his account and you get banned again, then what?

Why not follow the stealth guide to make some new accounts, play with them , learn with us then once you are much more comfortable you can decide then if you want to use his account.

His account is precious.

I encourage you to learn first because you already said some things that prove you don't really know how accounts operate.

I operated two stealth accounts without getting caught for 1 year. I know how it works. I had a VPN, virtual machines, a separate phone number, bank accounts, etc. The accounts were purchased from slokor on this site. I'm pretty sure I understand how to operate them. I'll have to get versed on the managed payments stuff --- i was using Paypal at the time.

The thing I think that will get me caught this time, is when my dad presents his license, it has an address on it, that I once resided at. That would be how they link me. The question is, is that something they'd bother to do when I was banned at another address.

I'm pretty sure I can't use the UPS box address, but the commercial address? It's an actual building. Surely not all eBay accounts are registered to a residence.

VPNs aren’t working like they used to. You’ll have better success with using mobile data tethering or buyin a dedicated residential proxy From ip burger. Every single account I made on a vpn eBay restricted the account and eventually suspended it.

The mobile data option might be the best. I would be in total control. I use my phone all the time for internet on my laptop. Works great.

I need to re-read the stealth guide, but I thought PO boxes were a no no.
