Suspended account held payouts, they wont budge!
 

Hi Everyone,

my stealth ebay account got suspended back in September, they held the funds until Dec 11th of this month. I received an email saying my funds were on the way to my bank account. problem is i closed my bank account when i found out my account got suspended. so i had to contact my bank last week to reopen the account and now ebay keeps screwing me over and won't send me my money. they keep giving me the run around saying i have to go through the courts system which is stupid, not even worth my time or there's, only have $579.00 that won't even pay the court fees. they can release the funds there just lazy and don't want to do it. I've waited 3 months already and besides that each agent i chat with i get a different story every time. most of the time they blame everything on my account being suspended. well no $hit i knew my account was banned 3 months ago.

your fault is that you closed your bank account ,now how do they know it is you who re open the account?
I dont know bank will allow you to re-open an account,I recall Wells Fargo would not do it

I use Bank Of America never had a problem with them on any of my stealth ebay accounts, I can still use the same account but they won't let me add it back to my ebay account

Once your eBay is suspended you can’t change the bank account. You will always get a error. So you’re screwed

some of the problems posted on this forum is that the person does not understand how Ebay works,they should learn more about how Ebay works ,some of it is just common sense.
Ebay owns the venue,it cant just allow anyone to add/change/delete whatever suits his needs,in this case ,you did not just remove the bank account from your Ebay account,but you actually closed the bank account,are you afraid Ebay will withdraw fund from your bank account?
Do you owe EBAY fees?
Are you afraid your buyers will file dispute and want their money back?

not sure if a check will work does it have to go to the address on file with ebay or can it be any address?

Well, you asked for advice and solefood actually said something very valid.

What didn't make sense is you disconnecting your bank account before everything was disbursed.

So bank and check request are the 2 valid options.

well you never can tell about ebay they can take money out of your account anytime they want

when you sign up with MP,you agree to allow them to access your bank account to deposit fund,but traffic goes both way,it can also withdraw from your account.
You shot yourself in the foot,you not only unlink your bank account,you close the account as well,and now it looks like your address is a problem,if you ask for a check,MP would send it to an address which is not yours.
