Annual Store Subscription after an account is banned?
 

Out of curiousity, what happens if you have an annual subscription for a eBay store and the eBay account is suspended? Do you have to pay for the whole year even though the account is suspended?

Nowadays I don't know, but I'm sure you can call them up and ask?

If anything, cancel the payment attached to it so you don't get billed

Nowadays with MP, the only payment method that is attached is my bank account for payouts.

contact ebay about this and as long as you don't have disbursement in waiting, cancel the bank account

I was just wondering if anyone had any personal experience with this particular issue. I haven't had any issue yet- just wondering what happens in case one were to arise.

is the annual subscription paid up front? if so, im sure they keep it

I checked on this myself yesterday on a restricted account - here is the deal - if you are on the annual plan (which I was billed at $59.99 monthly) and you cancel the plan before the end of your annual renewal date, they will charge you a cancellation fee which will be a fee prorated to the number of months you cancel early.

For instance, in my case my renewal date is Sept 2022 (8 months from now) the cancellation fee is $139.88.

** A note on this - if you do have the store make sure you use the $50 shipping supply coupon as you are entitled to it even though your account is restricted / suspended.
