So ebay charges fees before they send payout?

We all know that seller paid fees monthly before, now they just charge their percentage before they send out the payment to seller, so they get their money no matter what.
And they even could take money from your bank account if buyer opens case and you lose?
How could it possible?

It's what you agreed to when you signed up.
Can't really blame them. They've been shafted on fees and ripped off on cases for years.

So if buyer doesn't pay and seller doesn't cancel the sale, and no FVF will be charged?

The fee is taken out when buyers pay so if a buyer does not pay there is no fee.

thats the way merchant account works, besides FVF,there is fee for processing your buyer credit card.
It is Ebay and PAYPAL in one ,the difference is it has access to your bank account

Right, they take the fees out immediately and they are doing this to cover their rears.

If sale isn't cancelled, FVF is still charged last I checked because platform assumes sale is done

This is how Poshmark, Mercari, and Depop have been doing it too.
