I use spark email on mobile phone to operate around 50 accounts.. you can disable images in settings. When you sign into more than 30 it starts to slow down. So I split them between 2 phones. They are coming out with a windows app soon.

Just set up forwarding so al mails drop ibto singke mailbox, and check it with images disabled.

Thunderbird is no good somehow all accounts get connected with images disabled
