°°° Lifting ebay selling limits for new account: 3 items / 200 u$s mo
 

I have been slowly selling and raising my feedback, in 3 months I have 11 positive feedback and accomplished all shipments in time.

Still, the system won´t allow me to request higher limits. The current is 3 items per month or 200 u$s total, which is ridiculous. Account is MP verified Ok.

"Unfortunately, you're not currently eligible for a selling limit increase." :doh:

Any workaround?

You need to utilize all 200$ limit in one month to get higher limits automatically. Otherwise you need to write them email. Every account which is month old is eligible for limit increase !

yes, every time I requested highger limits (through page´s button, not customer help) I already had accomplished 200$ mo or 3 items per month. It didn´t work.

Whrite them email with question, how to get higher selling limits. Im sure they will give you :)

Hmmm.... 3 seems a little low to start with in the past when they give you a low limit it's because they deem the ACC a little riskier.

But you can try and call in at this point. You waited enough.

How have you managed 11 feedback in 3 months selling 3/month? Im assuming some of this is buyers feedback

Seems like it although buyer feedback doesnt really come into play for selling status

Ok I did as you suggested and contacted Support. They replied within the day:

Ater checking your account, I can see you have utilized your current selling limit up to maximum. We will be happy to increase selling limit of a valuable seller like you.

But before that, we just need to have an overview of your business model before increasing your selling limits.

Please answer our questions regarding your business model on eBay. These answers will help us to better understand and see the dynamics of your business.



1. What types of products you want to sell on eBay (write in detail what kind of products and manufacturers)?

2. Do you have these in stock?

3. Who is your supplier for these items?

4. What number of products you plan to exhibit on the site?

5. If the goods are new or secondhand?

6. How fast you will send the goods after receiving the payment?

7. What shipping service you plan to use?

8. You are going to use the tracking number and delivery confirmation?

9. Do you have any other eBay accounts to make purchases or sales?

So all of these are easy to answer, my doubt is if you go all in at
(4. What number of products you plan to exhibit on the site?)
or play it slow?

ie: "I plan to list 100 items a mo/ 5 to 10k" or

"Would list max 25 - 30 items usually 3 to 4k"


do you mention only items quantity without volume?

what´s the best approach for this question to get the highest limit?

All of my rating is feedback as a seller.

Of those, only 3 are real sales. The rest were previous clients to which I ask the favor of buying those listings on ebay (they had pending debts to me for items outside ebay so I cancelled some of it through those purchases). Bad thing is I had to pay for their incurred taxes as well, but I considered it the price to grow the account rating up. For some of those purchases I set the "local pick up" option and for others Ive used tracking numbers I had with in transit shipments. I wanted a mix so its more solid instead of all sales being "local pickup".

Now for the real sales I was very neat with the packaging, I tried to make it look nice and tidy as if the queen of England was going to receive those items. I was so meticolous that I got one of the best feedback I ever gotten in many years. "Many thanks. Item as described and sent very quickly with the best packaging I have seen. Great trader. 5 stars ++++". For that one I used a double box setup with a special plastic container for that item.


That 11th feedback is probably because I used 1 at the ending week of the month I got the account.

It is normal questions from ebay, but they will increase i think max up to 6k even if you will ask 10k or more

You can sell up to 50 items or $ 2500..00 each month. This includes all your sales and listings throughout the month.
