Account suspended last year, help with 2nd account
 

Hi all,

glad i have found this forum!

My eBay account (5000 plus feedback) got suspended last year (November) because we sold a quote that was copy-written, there is no way back for it, I have made my peace there!

However, my wife has a business account which has been unaffected, she is about to really ramp up her ebay offering and is worried that they will eventually shut it down because of the ip address or whatever.


Will eBay close it? and is there anything we can do to prevent that?

eBay may have a small link in the accounts already if you used the same ip. But sometimes they need more than just ip link for suspension. They look at operating system, web browser, cache, cookies, fonts installed, resolution, audio devices, name, address, phone number, bank accounts.

If a lot of those matched then I would start fresh on a stealth account

Can anyone else vouch for this? Many users on this forum claim new user is enough

New user is enough for stealth, but they can’t have same details such as ip, phone number, address, bank etc

Basically what I was telling the OP is that eBay sometimes looks at more than same IP to link accounts

First thing first make sure you guys read the stealth guide.

Understand the basics.

second, if you've been operating the computers under the same roof that can impact her acc especially if the accounts are also in the same PC.
