Default What does Ebays system check exactly?

I haven't been able to get back on ebay in over 12 months and it's absolutely killing me, ive tried to set up around 8 stealth accounts in the last year and all get restricted, i purchased an account from the seller forum here about 5 months back and that got restricted within 2 days and i only logged into the account once and did nothing else, seller wouldn't replace as said it was my fault for using dedicated i.p from i.p burger, anyway..

A user on here commented on a post yesterday saying...

''They look at operating system, web browser, cache, cookies, fonts installed, resolution, audio devices, name, address, phone number, bank accounts.''

How true is this? Because im trying to figure out why i can't seem to make a stealth account, many people here say a new user is enough, then there's other stating about hardware etc and should get a new pc or laptop?

New user is hardly enough. Fingerprinting is the same on all accounts, because you use same os and browser. You are one and the same person for e.bay

Fingerprinting is easy to get around I believe the issue lies in the identity checks

I believe you need real details. Name, DOB must match. In the USA is is a bit more than that now. We use separate computers for most accounts these days. It works for us. If we are starting accounts, portable browsers and modify fingerprinting.

Websites can easily check fingerprints now. And when you try to spoof it you run into problems. You can do simple things though like changing browsers on each user account

Now this review process is becoming more and more mysterious, not the logic of normal people's thinking

Foundation wise we know what they check on, but also throw in some random review for whatever reason.

You can also try changing your behavior from a set of predefined pattern

This is correct, but it's really not easy to change a habit.

One way is to share what he's been doing and we can point out what not to do

That was a user called DUAB, who was selling UK Ebay accounts in the seller section around 6 months ago but he took it down since, think he still sells others. 1 of the mods here got in touch with me i sent him the chat logs between me and the seller, they spoke to him, he messaged me saying if i amend my comment on here he will send me another account but he never did. He literally delivered me the account, i used a Dedicated Proxy from i.p burger instead of a Residential Proxy as a mistake, obviously did new pc user , new browser etc and logged into the account to check it was ok then signed out did nothing, 3 days later when i logged back in the account was suspended, seller said it was my fault for using Dedicated Proxy and not Residential Proxy and can offer me another account for £100 as a bad luck offer. It's put me off risking buying any more accounts

Creation Steps

- New User On PC (in name of account i'd be registering just incase)
- Disable flash player cookies
- Sign up on ebay in family members name who has not registered on ebay
- New phone number
- new uk bank account not used on ebay
- Personal account registering not business account
- Personal Hotspot Mobile Phone to PC for i.p (ensuring i always unplug my ethernet cable before logging into that user)

I would sign up for personal seller account and list 1 item which i usualy put up a t shirt as thats what im wanting to sell, the design i put up is definitely not copryighted it would be a simple design such as a 'I'm Dave Doing Dave Things' T Shirt, i don't take a photo of the shirt, i use a photo ive made on photoshop, i list the t-shirt in sizes S-2XL, i do not go crazy on filling in the information for the tshirt as i want it to make it seem like i am a new seller, so description etc is very minimal no html or anything like that. the image would be exiff cleaned to erase any data, i don't list the same name item as ive listed on an account before, after 1st listing you get the initial suspension so i phone them up and get that initial restriction lifted, i do nothing else on the account except log in and browse ebay etc, then not to long after i get the 'we noticed a risk to the community etc etc permanantly suspended'

No i don't build any browsing history on the accounts or anything before signing up, i do watch a couple of items and browse for abit to act 'normal' but this after i've signed up as a seller.

Over the last year though i've tried a few different things, such as keeping all above the same but listing a dvd as auction that ive taken a photo of rather than buy it now and using a stock photo, same thing happens. I've used chrome and firefox same thing happens, ive tried personal and business accounts same thing happens.

Which is why i was asking the question regarding as to what ebays system actually checks, because if it does actually check fonts / audio devices then my system would be pretty unique as i've got a pretty expensive soundcard for music production, ive got over 4000 fonts installed for graphic design, ive got a dual monitor set up, new I9 processor etc my PC was custom built. so if they do see all this then my PC will definitely cause a flag because its not like a 'normal' person buying a DELL pc from pc world and not doing a great deal on it (such as having the standard fonts installed, the normal audio devices)

For my next attempt im thinking to try on my laptop but formatting it before i do.

Might want to do something else as an initial listing instead of t-shirt - go for something household item or similar
