Using Family Members Ebay Account
 

Taking over a family members established account (Years old with feedback).

They live in another state and I was going to update the address & Banking information on the account (address is unused from any suspended ebay accounts) and the bank account has not been used previously.

Will this trigger anything on the account with Ebay?

Am I able to change the following without any issues:

Email address
Phone Number
Bank Account
Shipping address

Any feedback would be appreciated! I want to make sure I do not get this account flagged.

Better way do not change all information in one day, start from bank account. You have to start selling slowly like from new account... Save cookies and transfer it to your new browser.
if you change the PC and all the information at once it will seem very suspicious activity

Am I able to change the bank account and cell phone number? Or just do the bank account and update other information throughout the month?

I haven't done a huge change of all these parameters - in one shot, a change like this feels risky. FORMULA suggested first the bank - OP, you might consider waiting for bank account to go through without issue first then slowly go on - all within a month timeframe feels risky

You don’t really need to update the number. If you ever get account locked for your security just get a email sent. And if you have any problems when you need eBay support use chat. You will need to get a sms sent to the current phone number on file to change the bank though. But try to wait as long as you can to change phone number after changing bank

If you have a spare number there is no harm in updating that. Its not 100% needed but always advised

Okay I will start with the bank account only.

The family member did not give me their email credentials since they still use the email address.... So I do need to change the email.

I can wait on the phone number for awhile. I just wanted all communication from Ebay to come to me instead of the family member that gave me the account.
