Older stealth account still up after the managed payment migration...multiple accts?
 

I purchased an account on here from a reputable member well over a year ago. Was originally linked to a stealth paypal and still used religiously with a dedicated IP.

As many others on here, I was worried about how things would go as Ebay migrated over to managed payments instead of paypal. Well, everything went smoothly on my side and I even managed to use my real name and ssn tied to my old suspended ebay account.

Weird. I still don't understand it, but not complaining.

My question is...now that I have a somewhat aged (2 years) stealth account that's running smoothly under my real name and soc....would I be able to open up a second account under a new dedicated IP with my real name and soc as well?

I'm guessing no, but it still makes no sense to me that I was able to change my stealth account to my real name without getting banned after migration.

Can anybody shed some clarity on this? I don't really need a second or third account, but it would be nice.

Can have up to 5 eb accounts with same info - keep in mind that there would be inherent linking going on

That's what I'm scared of.

Obviously, somehow Ebay didn't link my new account with the old account after I entered my real info to get into the managed payment system.

But I'm curious if adding new accounts under this same name will somehow jeopardize things? Anyone with experience, good or bad?

Limited experience on my end from experimentation - had high limits on one account...when more were brought in, limits were reduced and split among the 4

All good - make backup accounts that are not linked in the meantime
