Help making a Legit Ebay Seller account.
 

Hi everyone,

Planning to open a legit ebay account using me real details. I have never opened an ebay account in the past.

I have a few concerns.

I have a registered UK company which is what i will be creating an ebay for.

I currently share the same home address with my brother, who in the past has had his ebay account suspended a few years back which was made at this address.

Will i be linked?

My business address is different to my home address.

I will be using my business address to register the ebay account.
Am I ok to put my personal address when they ask about it?

I have a completely new laptop and using 4g mobile data so I know i wont be linked through devices/ip.

Please share your knowledge and suggestions.

Depends on how long ago it was. With Managed Payments. It’s like eBay gave everyone a second chance

Same home address...don't reuse it - if business address is new, it doesn't seem like a link would happen

So a business sellers account will be made using the business address.

However, i believe it will ask for my personal residential address too, which is currently the address my brother got his ebay suspended about 5 years ago.

So im abit stuck on what to do .....

So why can’t you use a new address just to yourself the risk. But if you can’t use another address you should be fine. Managed Payments was like a reset for everyone

Just to mitigate as much risk if you can use a different address it'd be better of course
