Adding bank account, United Kingdom Ebay
 

Hi, I have successfully set up a stealth account and I have started to sell. All is good apart from one major issue which is that as part of confirming bank details, they take money back that they deposited to verify the account and my bank declines it due to the name being different to my real name.

Is there an online bank I could use that would be accepted that would allow me to sign up with my real name obviously, but I could set an account to a different name to be paid?

Yeah, I have a UK account but ebay send 2 small amounts I need to confirm, all fine. And then a few days later they take those amounts back but because the name is different to ebay name they send a message to say that the verification failed and I need to add account with matching name to my eBay so when they take back the 2 deposits it is accepted.

It makes sense,if your bank does not check the name,then anyone can access your bank account and make withdrawal

Need to try a different bank that accepts mismatched names or just do it matching name.
