USA pay as you go sim cards
 

Hi guys

What's the best USA pay as you go sim card that I can have shipped to Thailand and it will work ok.

Do USA sim cards need to be activated in USA to work abroad? I know that some European sim card must be first used in home country before they work abroad.

Hmmmmm..... from what I know they only work in USA, but with a GSM service that could be different.

I just google who offers the services then ask their customer support to confirm

I have a feeling that it would have to be activated in USA before being used abroad - ones with GSM service tend to be pricier though

You would do better with a online verified sms provider that offers physical sms service

Most use Tracfone but I am not sure if they need activating before they are shipped out - Anyone from the US able to chip on on that?

Thanks for the replies I found a seller offer lycamobile and activating it in the USA not sure if that would work

Couldnt get the Tracfone to work on a remote carrier few years back even after US activation - perhaps my own issue though; time to retry
