Is Teamviewer better than Proxy?

Ok so I know most experienced people here say that a "real" local IP address is better than a proxy.

So on that basis if my friend in the UK setup Teamviewer for me that would be better than say IP Burger UK Residential Proxy right?

However ebay is now scanning ports to see if you have remote access software installed so maybe not.

But then again it can't be a huge red flag to have teamviewer installed as a lot of people have it installed and ebay can't ban them all right?

What do you think?

Teamviewer does work - just have to make sure the connection is not lost otherwise teamviewer will be disconnected

Thanks for your reply. In your opinion is Teamviewer on a residential computer better than using a Residential Proxy such as IP Burger?

Obviously there is a risk Teamviewer might disconnect but that's no big deal I'd just ask my friend to reset it.

I can manage most of my ebay activity through keysender.co.uk (no need for UK IP address when using keysender) and email messages from ebay so it's pretty rare for me to actually have to login. I can go weeks without logging it.

The residential computer gives "normal" IP - the proxy IP would still work though as long as IP does not cause problems upon registration

the main issue is that you do not fully control the other machine yourself so that someone else would need to be present on the other end

Correct - or at least make sure the other end remains enabled.
