requesting higher selling limits

hi all i have a new eBay account with a few sales (bank is verified)

when i go to request higher selling limits it gives me 2 options (verify account details and request from customer support)

when i choose the first option it says verification failed

what does this mean?

You usually need to ring them for an increase

Whilst it can be frustrating, I've never asked for an increase, I just let it grow as ebay deem suitable.

Anyway, it seems like they want further information from you before they'll increase it, go for the second option to initial a call and ensure you have all your answers in order.

Agree with Hank on letting it grow organically - OP, be careful if you are selling risky items if you decide to initiate the call

Ugh, �� I'll never call to increase my limits.

I get organic increases the majority of the time and I have multiple accounts.

If I ever not get an increase on one particular account, I'll just use that account, max it out every month and leave it alone till next month.

Get multiple accounts going as well OP - backups

By far the best thing to do if you have the patients to build an account like that

They tend to then just run for years
