Ebay keeps asking for company documents after I enter EIN/LLC
 

Hi guys

So in May I got an EIN/LLC for an ebay account I had running for 2 years straight. In June I went to go enter in settings the LLC name and EIN with my family members name/ssn and it kept coming back as we are unable to verify your business details ( on the side saying or enter documents). So I switched back to sole proprietor waited a 2 weeks still same thing. Now I finally changed the name/ssn to my own that matches the llc/ein and still same thing it is saying we are unable to verify business details ( on side asking for company docs if ebay keeps having problem).

I'm wondering what is going on I never heard of anyone else having this problem. I'd enter EIN document at this rate but I'm afraid somehow ebay may autoban me thinking I'm a liar. Shouldn't it always be the case where ebay can verify your LLC/EIN automatically? I have it under single member LLC. The only thing I'm thinking of is I used a registered agent service for my business address both on ebay and on state filing site, so maybe ebay thinks there's already a user with that address??

Just a sec - backup here - you changed your name/ssn on the account?

Just to get your story straight, you have a stealth eBay and you changed the name and SSN completely, correct?

Address you used what? a forwarder with a box number?

Your LLC should have the address and if they check with say secretary of state it's the way I'd think they'll match your address.

I had it as stealth with my family member's ssn/name for 2 years. I just 8 weeks ago got an LLC/EIN in my name. I tried adding it onto the account many times, it kept asking to verify details, so I finally changed the ssn/name on account to my own thinking that maybe that was why, and it is still asking to reverify details or send in docs. The address I'm using is a registered agent business address that is under my LLC with secretary of state.

Business. i can switch between sole propreitor aka ssn/name where it doesn't ask for docs/to reverify info or if I enter llc name/ein it asks for docs/ to reverify it. Someone mentioned it's because I once made the mistake of giving them the ein/llc before it aged, and now that it has aged they won't stop asking to reverify or give docs.
