listing is active but not showing on search results
 

Hey everyone! I'm just wondering if this is normal? I haven't sold on one of my accounts for about 4 weeks as I have been away. Usually when I list something my item appears within minutes and this particular item always has appeared pretty much straight away. However i have listed an item and it is active under "selling" email came through as normal to say listing is live but it has now been 19 hours and its still not showing on search results. I've never had this happen to me before any info is much appreciated!

Consider yourself lucky then, it happens. I've had listings that don't show up after 24 hours even, I relist them and *poof* they're there.

Your listing is just going through the indexing phase sometimes it can go up straight away other times it can take 24 hours or more. If it’s not showing after 48hrs max I would message eBay through live chat.

Good question to clear up OP - some categories do change over time in terms of listing appearance
