I don't think so because someone should be stupid to pay twice for something which doesn't work properly :)) I just think they reinstate your account but those red flags remain and the system ban you again within a month or once you create a listing ...

Insiders can reinstate suspended accounts, but the account will be suspended again soon after. I had my main account reinstated by an insider for $600, but it was suspended again 6 days later. The insider refused to give me a warranty, so I didn't pay him. In conclusion, insiders can reinstate accounts, but it's not a permanent solution

It's the reason one of the sellers of this service in this forum no longer provides that service.

Sounds less like insider, more like hacking the system.

Well, that insider thing does work, they can really reinstate the account but after couple of days it will get suspended again. Here is my story: One guy really reinstated my account, and I provided him just account's name and I was surprised when next day he said it's done, I checked and it was back on track. He said I will pay only after the work is done, it was fine for me because I don't risk anything in this case. When I saw it reinstated, I asked him to give me 2 more days as warranty, he didn't agree but had no choice. Exactly after 2 days it got suspended again. I didn't pay him anything obviously... So, as conclusion I can say, YES insiders can reinstate the accounts, that's true, it costs a lot (in my case he wanted $400) but it will get suspended again very fast unfortunately...

HI Dimitri, I hope you are doing well. I read your post and wanted to ask you if you could share the contact info of the insider that was able to lift the restriction for you for the 2 days on ebay.

I have had a restricted (MC011) ebay account for one month now. I need it to be reinstated for at least a few days to transfer the money to my account. I don't mind if it gets restricted again soon after, as I will have the money transferred already.

Thank you so so much in advance!

The one who can reinstate your account would be a software geek, but he is not going to risk his 6 figures paycheck !

Please do not read if you think this is irrelevant or ?
Once a computer programmer who worked for the state which sells raffle tickets found that no one has claimed the top price ( which is a large sum).
He and a friend collaborated,he reprinted the ticket and his friend went to the state to claim the money.
Little do they know, the State has placed a feature in the computer software which alerted the auditing staff a ticket has been reprinted.

Didn't AMZN once found out its Chinese staff have been reinstating accounts for a fee?
Overseas geeks may not earn US $100,000 but whatever they earn,it is like making $100K by local standard.
To make $20K-$30K in Philipines,India,Mexico,Yugoslavia is damn good money.

Last post was 2023 - the original poster may not be active - wise ppl have some more info than what's out in the open - but you will likely have to pay fee or cooperate well for info

Don’t fall for reinstatement scams. If an account subject says indefinitely suspended, there is no way to recover it. Only accounts with a temporary suspension or those where eBay requests additional information have a chance of being reinstated.

Guys almost all reinstatements by agents get rechecked by the back office within the first week or two to make sure it was the correct decision. For this reason it's pointless to try even if you do find an agent willing to do it.

Who told you that?

I'm pretty sure they are double checked before reinstatement, but I'm not aware of many cases of fixing an account with a ban a week later. I guess it all depends on why you were suspended in the first place.

I've heard it from multiple agents in different countries and it matches what I've seen for years and have seen many times on the forums here. Not sure what you mean, one of the most common complaints on here is along the lines of "I got back but it lasted a week or so before it was dead". The main exception is AI suspensions provided you didn't do anything too crazy but these are pointless to reinstate as they nearly always drop the limits down to something useless.
