selling on ebays other international platforms

Hi,

I have a MP UK ebay account which I sell on.

I would like to sell on ebay.com (USA) using this account. I have stock in the USA. Will ebay convert these dollars into pounds and deposit them into my UK bank?

I'm not sure how payment works as I am registered in the UK but I can access the listing page on ebay USA.

Thanks.

There is a currency conversion built into the site - sale shows up as US dollars but comes into your account in pounds

So for USA people it'll show in quids but also how much in US$ .
THey'll pay in USD, get charged international fee on top of other fees and you'll get it in quids.

if he lists the item on EBay USA,item is listed in US $ and buyer pays in US $ ,buyer does not pay fee.seller pays

You are right that is will be displayed in Dollars and ebay will then convert it into Sterling but I think it's pretty clear they meant the seller will be charged the conversion fee.

With Paypal, seller can keep the payment in local currency, when it comes to conversion, then Paypal charges a fee.
Dont think you can do that with MP,IT WILL BE CONVERted

You cannot have a US bank linked to your Ebay account

The conversion fee is not a good one at all by the way
