Anything New with Ebay that I should know before listing first item

I just started a new ebay shop under a business name, also went ahead and did the starter subscription, not really sure if that even makes a difference or makes ebay more lenient. Last time I tried to make an account was over a year ago before all the new changes. I got the boot on that account pretty quickly after listing my second item. Not the most confident this new one is going to be any different but I'm just wondering if any more seasoned ebay sellers have any tips, advice. I'm not a risky item seller, just a small business. I'm kind of scared to list my first item. Should I wait a while or list a cheap item right away? Is ebay any less strict about flagging new accounts?

You can list an item straight away no browsing no bidding required. Don’t list an item for 99p tho ebay seems to flag these accounts. I wouldn’t recommend listing a book either I’ve seen so many sellers have accounts flagged or suspended for this reason.

I'm still an avid fan of browsing/bidding for 2-4 weeks before listing in spite of what others say about listing right away

I'd still just browse around for at least a week before you put up your first item and turn it into a selling account.

Since this is a real business I'd assume you got all your documents in order correct?
