IP Burger blocking very important websites

Hi all

I needed to add a card to my stealth ebay account for payments so I tried to use a revolut card but it said page cannot be displayed. I tried again and again but always the same problem.

I tried a different browser and different ISP - same problem.

This was driving me crazy. I contacted Revolut and they insisted it wasn't a problem at their end.

So where could the problem possibly lie?

Turns out IP Burger in their infinite wisdom have decided to block Revolut and refuse to unblock it so now I have to buy another residential proxy in order to add a Revolut card to ebay even though I am paying IP Burger a high price for their service.

They should at the very least provide a list of websites they block before taking peoples money but instead they take the money first and then say sorry we have decided to block the website you need to use. No refunds.

I put in a complaint to IP Burger but they said they have no control over which websites are blocked so all their customers can do is sign up to their service and hope it isn't money wasted due to a block that won't be removed.

Anyone else here had these kind of problems?

Kind Regards

Seems weird to me but appears they admitting to the issue being theirs.

Time to move on, poor form not to issue a partial refund.

Thanks for your reply. Any recommendations for decent reasonably price residential IP that don't take your money and block the sites you need?

Are you in the UK fernendo? You could look at mobile phone tethering or residential IP

No not in the UK. Yes I need a good reliable residential IP

So depending on the residential ip plan, IPburger blocks certain sites to prevent abuse.

Their static residential IP that was released very recently doesn't have these limitations.
Get this one if you need to access high risk websites.

PS: Fernendo, change your country's flag so we don't give you wrong advice in the future.

Yes this happened to me before it’s why I stopped using IP Burger because it blocked me from using revolut and I use revolut for all my accounts.

It’s perfect honestly you can print labels off and once buyer receives the item funds are in the bank next day. I also use revolut to pay selling fees but selling fees automatically come out of sale sometimes a small negative balance but again revolut sorts that issue out.

I now use my own router turning it off and on it’s so much quicker and faster with no issues no blocks and everytime it’s turned off and on it changes ip can’t complain.

Many sellers seem to get on with ip burger but for me it’s a definite no.

I can't and wont ever deal with turning modem on and off anymore...

Not efficient unless you only have 1 or 2 accounts.
