| | | | | R3pgpd | 09-06-2022 01:53 AM | Help with Seller Level Below Standard Hey everyone. This is actually regarding the eBay MP account I have with my real name/address etc-all my stealths are fine. My problem on my real personal account is that my seller level went below standard months and months ago, when I sold a lady two antique figurines as a favor for my mom. I got diagnosed with Covid 19 the day after sending both figurines, and was bed ridden for like 8-9 days (no joke, it was the second time I got it and after 2 years of not taking the dangers of covid seriously I got so sick that I now fully appreciate the dangers). After she received the packages she immediately opened disputes that I didn’t answer right away because I was literally in the hospital, which I made sure to exhaustively document via hospital paperwork and signed doctors letters. Anyway, long story short I was stupid and my brain was in a fog that was really quite crazy at first and has taken a LONG time to wear off-the lady’s opened cases turned into account defects, and 2 defects on an account with 20 ish total transactions is way above eBay’s threshold for “standard seller level.” They didn’t suspend me but set my limits at 10/$100 per month, which has made getting back above standard nearly impossible. I’ve been working for months on fixing it, haven’t gotten anything but glowing reviews for 6+ months and still eBay won’t budge to remove limits. How do I circumvent this? Assuming there is even a way….should I switch to business? Or delete account and sign up? I’ve also heard that eBay will let individuals open multiple accounts for multiple businesses…is that true? Thanks for the help, you guys rule.

Re: Help with Seller Level Below Standard Can you spread out the writing? The paragraph is difficult to read. |

Next time do use paragraphs so people are willing to read your whole story.
So you got a below standard with just a 10 item monthly, that says that you'll have to be better in your operations.
at this point, keep using the account but also have extra accounts so you don't get stuck with this one account. |

And I've gotten so many of those defects removed, it's not even funny. Even for things I deserved them for. Your account was taken down for just 2, and you have proof of hospital, and no one will help you? I'm sorry, but there is imformation missing me. |

How did the OP get below standard from only 2 defects? Not to mention, that's 2 defects from one person.
i really want to know what happened here. We are missing information. |
