Thank you for staying connected Mariyan. I am glad to inform you that I have now increased your selling allowance to 50 items and $2,500 amount of sales for the month whichever comes first.
That`s it. When I use the exact same words, they transfer me to email or just say no. Can anybody tell me what`s the secret? What could he be doing differently? Thank you. |

Any other Increase (if your account is above standard) can be increased once every 8 days.
You can also use external services to increase limits (but if its a fresh account i do not recommend it). |
| Nimble | 09-28-2022 09:33 AM | Re: Increasing limits, what am I doing wrong? If using stealth account it is best avoided to contact ebay whatsoever, i asked for limit increase on 2 accounts, they increased from 10 to 50 but after 24hours were suspended. Ever since then I just wait for ebay to automatically increase limits, one account started at 10 and reached over 1000 in 6 months. Slow and steady is the way to go. |

Re: Increasing limits, what am I doing wrong? No secret OP - that chat happened with an agent who was sympathetic - bit of luck |
| NotAnothereBayUser | 09-30-2022 09:39 AM | Re: Increasing limits, what am I doing wrong? Just take it easy,
They will auto-increase with sales,
There are safeguards to stop anyone just switching to another account.
Better off with multiple accounts if Limits are a big issue as if you are selling;
£5k+ in your first month you are selling very very well , whatever it may be!!!

Why on earth would you ask for 500 item limits on a new account. You have to prove to them that you can sale and provide good service to your buyers.
That’s like me getting approved for a credit card with a $500 limit, I then ask them for a limit increase to $5000 in first month without showing to them that I’m using the credit card and paying it off in time.
To get higher limits automatically, max out either the $ amount of listing amount each month and after 3 months the limits go up automatically. If it’s not enough then look into spreading sales across multiple accounts. |

I was able to increase my limits on one account to 100/5000 and the other account 260/5000. Both accounts are running fine without any issues and turnover is £1500 on one of them and £1600 on the other one. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:57 PM. | |
