Creating new stealth accounts, Business or Individual, which is best?
 

Pretty much stated in the title.

Id it best to open an individual, sole trader or ltd company?

Depends upon your intentions, your previous 'form' with ebay and what identity you intend to assume - stealth I guess.

IMO if you plan on using it for modest/high volume sales of repeat new goods then a business account from outset is best. I don't think it makes a great deal of difference if you go sole trader or Limited Company, that said the latter is my preferred option.


The cheapskate route would be to open an individual account as very little expense or effort is required to get up and running but eventually you'll need to convert it if you intend to sell in any volume. IMO you stand a greater chance of being suspended if you go this route and don't make the conversion once established.

I also believe that the formal manner in what business accounts are created and managed and the need to get most of the initial scrutiny out of the way at outset means they will have greater confidence in the account and be more receptive to limit increase requests etc.

Anyway, without knowing past history and intentions going forward there not a great deal of meaningful advice that can be given. Over to you.....

Yes it would be full stealth, previously had main account suspended and then another friends, these were managed payments.

Recently (2 months ago) a friend opened a business account (sole trader) with real details and straightaway had a limit of 1000/£10000 per month which was surprising, hence why I questioned what would be best.

I want to build a few strong stealth accounts with 100 items per month limit at least.

Just wanted some reassurance that if I create a new stealth under sole trader that it wouldn't get banned straightaway.

Obviously, I will be using new name, address, brand new phone (for ebay app), new sim mobile data only, but again can I use a bank account that has previously been linked to a banned account? Or create a new bank account but again would be under my real name?

Yes, as you can gather, I'm new to the world of stealth, still digesting the "stealth ebook".

The bank account is the one thing that makes all accounts partly 'real' however stealthy you try to be.

Never re-use any data that has been used before, particularly bank accounts.

What about name, have to use the same name to open a bank account ?

business is always best, if you can create new companies and bank accounts

Be prepared id requests bear in mind this will happen so makesure you have id to provide for that stealth account.
