250 limit account demoted to 10 limit per month
 

Hi,

i have a 250 limit account that got demoted to 10 item limit per month for some reason.


Wondering if I sell the max amount each month if this account would still get the auto increase?

OR is this account done for?

Obvious question, what makes you think it's done for? Has it been subject to restrictions or warnings?

Noone knows, you need to list until the limit hits and contact support. Then its a coinflip

Pretty hard demotion - I wouldn't count on an auto increase for a few cycles...

Something must have caused the demotion, any warnings? Policy violations? Not sending tracked? Buyers complaining? Wouldn't get demoted without a reasonable cause.

Nope. That's not the problem. Since all the new updates, Ive been doing alot of testing as far as account creation. after about 6 of my stealth accounts went down. I noticed Ebay does not want anyone/new users to have a selling account bigger than the 5/$500 or 10/$xxx limit. So all of you's that want a big ebay selling account...forget about it!!! also they are not automatically increasing sells limits after 90 days on new accounts. Oh yea &.. Stealth is NOT DEAD!

oh man.... I experienced this once myself and I have seen what happened with others in the past.

Once demoted usually you don't get increases anymore, but with MP era now... it could be different?

There usually is a reason OP - more info needed about your mode of operations - category of sales?
