Adding a Credit Card
 

The good book says to use a prepaid gift card to add to a US eBay stealth account. Not sure if they work anymore.

Been sifting thru here and see that since MP, people are saying to use your name/dob/ssn to create accounts, but change everything else. So if eBay already has your name, are you able to add a new (never used in eBay) credit card with your same name? Or would that likely link your accounts?

New credit card is the right way to go but for MP you will need bank account

Right. You need both for MP, correct? I figure with the bank account it’s similar to how we used to link bank account to PP during pre-MP, right? But I was able to link a personal bank account to PP despite my eBay account being a business one.

I’m going to go the route of business EIN for the stealth, so I figure I’ll just open a business bank account for my LLC and just link that so that most of the info will match and limit the areas for my personal info to be displayed. Would it be better if I try to get a business credit card for the LLC and use that one for the eBay account? Or will it not matter much since my personal name would still be on the business credit card?

Credit card names can't be seen. So it can mismatch, does not matter.

But always add it new. Numbers are very easy to link.
