VeRo restricted acc
 

Hi folks,
I have an stealth acc which was recently restricted by vero.
First i received a warning for that my listing is removed by vero and my acc will be paused for 3 days.
After 2 hours i received email that says my account is permanently restricted for future listing in this category, because of vero complains.
Another email at the same moment, this time from vero says that i will be able to list again in this category if i print and sign a doc - but, for any furter "violation "I will need to pay 1 000 euro to them. There was space for my name, signature, address.
Do they can cause me problems if i accidentally make a mistake and vero decide that is against their rules and i don't pay these 1 000 euro (lol) ? My acc is totally stealth with creative doc.
I will be working on new acc anyway, but i will be happy to hear your advice about "sign" this paper and keep the acc for little more time, till can be replaced by new one with good history.

Sign and keep selling.
What they can do ? Just sent their copy paste emails :)

if it is stealth you can sign , sounds a lot like ebay germany

I would recommend to switch site and type of items for this account if the account gets reinstated

EU eBay now wants you to pay $1000 per Vero violation?

No, Vero Germany offers me to be able to sell again in this category, but i need to sign that if i violate their rules again i need to pay 1 000 euro to them for each new violation.

Still better than permanent suspension off ebay. Fairly sure back in the day you were out permanently for vero violation.

You can essentially push the limits, make money until caught selling knock offs. And then change your business and sell something that doesn't breach vero and salvage the account.

Amazing if you ask me.

The account might be stealth but bank account attached to it isn't, make sure to read the terms and conditions entirely before signing the document, as chargebacks can be initiated by ebay to your attached bank account.

Actually there is no terms and conditions in this document, it's a just declaration.

Well in any case, check the general eBay policy, since they might still be able to charge your bank account if it is stated that they can in their policy.

Might be good to remove your personal email info and share the document for forum to see - might be a spam e-mail? not from eb? or...

FYI claims, fines, etc. issued from Germany and Switzerland do arrive in Bulgaria so keep that in mind.

it is easy to prevent ebay from taking any money from bank and if the document is signed with a stealth name it will eventually have no legal meaning

the best advice I can give is signing it and avoid selling items of the company that complained , it would be even better not to sell on this account in the given category at all

the only issue that may arise is if your account is registered in germany and run from germany. in this case you are at risk and should abandon any sales in risky categories on this account

I filled the doc and sent it to them yesterday. I'm also thinking about not selling items from this company anymore. it's better to keep my acc which is 6-7 years old with excellent reputation. Now i'm waiting to see what will happens. I will write back when i have some news.

They lifted my category restrictions, they thanked me that i take care of my acc and even gave me advice for other company that can cause me vero troubles. Really weird.
