eBay payment not working on new or stealth accounts
 

hi is anyone having problems with making payments using stealth or new opened accounts on eBay. ? i have tried several times to make a payment if £450 g.b.p on a stealth account or an account opened on the same day and I keep getting message stating.. payment option not working .. please try a different payment method. I then try a different card or via pay pal and still get the same message .. can anyone advise

Yes I’m currently having the exact same issue. My account has recently been transferred over so name matching bank account and debit card added and I’m still having the same issue and I have funds in my bank balance as well.

I receive payouts no issues but trying to refund a buyer it’s not letting me do that.

I’m wondering if it’s just a technical issue.

just thinking out loud but is it a current bank account or savings being used?

On my account it’s a savings account for payouts and current account debit card attached and I still can’t make payment either.

My plan going forward now is to use funds in available balance to make any future refunds if I need to.

Valid point about future refunds but this bank payment issue is odd - tried different browser?
