ebay API - making a system to get stats on top sellers

I'm coding something that will give details of top sellers on ebay.

Say you search for something.
My system will tell you the stats for the top 20 sellers - will tell how how much they have sold and other details.

All these details are available when you search for something - but to get the data in the same way I will give would take say 15 minutes of collecting data and adding to a spreadsheet to analyse - that would be the manual approach.

Is my code allowed? I don't want to spend time developing only to find out it's not allowed according to the 1000th line in their terms and conditions.

Where do you get your information from? Are you aware of the terms and conditions? (Hoping you have read them - would save me loads of time!)

Well... I'm making the code anyway - to sell as a service.
I'll make 2 versions: one with API and one without anyway.
Just wanted to know about ebay terms.
