Are you guys concerned that eBay has lost 15 million active buyers within last 12 month? They lost 2 million just last quarter alone. Do you believe eBay is going to continue losing buyer until it's going to be completely desolate place?

Highly doubt they're gonna go down like that.
There'll always be new traffic and new plans they can implement.

Their pricing scheme is definitely going to have to change to ensure theyre even relevant in the future. Too many other options are available for sellers these days.
Other policies (especially those relating to their policies regarding their sellers) will have to change as well.

I have been selling on eBay for about 15 years. And I will be honest, of all platforms I am selling on, eBay is the best. It is literally the most straightforward and easy on the eyes platform out there. Too bad they don’t have Amazon’s traffic.

Same experience ebay use to be too good and back in days Amazon reps use to call emails with offers 6 months free etc. they were desperate for sellers and look now it’s other way round
Ebay fees is crazy
To be honest many of people I know don’t trust ebay anymore since they don’t force sellers to get item delivered on stated time
Prime is one of key success for AZ

The fees are not a lot if you create private accounts as every 2 weeks Friday to Monday you get 80% off selling fees.

Prime is one of key success for AZ | Ebay sellers are mostly small sellers, they work hard and try hard, most use USPS and these days they are slow, they have the same problem like everyone else.
I dont know what you mean by EBAY FORCING sellers to get items delivered on stated time.,UNLESS they are dropshipping,if they do have the items on hand, they will try to ship as soon as possible

I'm guilty myself of using Amazon fulfilled Prime even if I can buy it cheaper on ebay( often from the same seller), it's the way folk think nowadays in this 'I want it now' world.
Ebay are dabbling with fulfilment centres but it would take a colossal amount of investment and time to get remotely close to Amazon. I hope I'm wrong but I simply can see it happening on a scale that has any meaningful impact on buying habits.

Jeff said he expects a day in his life that amazon goes bankrupt. Ebay on the other hand has little overhead in comparison.
For me, ebay is great. Far and away the best platform for me. We have A LOT of old buyers back, lots of new buyers who never used ebay before.
I thing as the wold economics continues to slide downward, more and more people will buy wherever they can find the most value. Might end up being Walmart.com in the end or some entire new sales platform altogether.
