You can list as much as possible, but it does not mean you would sell as much as possible.
if you list too many items which look brand new with stock photo ,Ebay would ask to see vendor invoice to make sure you do have them on hand.

you should look into YOUR EBAY and see if Ebay has offered you x FREE listings. No sense asking us,we are not Ebay.
I would try 30-50 listings,do you have the items on hand?will you be using stock photo?
wait till more folks get out of bed and have their morning JOE to help you

If your account has been well created and ebay have absolutely no cause for concern then you can sell right up to the initial limit without problem, Indeed this is what I have always done to trigger automated limit increases so I don't have to phone them.

There are those who say that 'selling goods on a selling account' will get you suspended - what rubbish, ebay want all the sales on all the accounts they can get. They just don't want scammers and troublesome accounts. All you do is avoid scrutiny and it will be plain sailing. They hold your money on reserve anyway, so there's no risk at all if you're a good seller.

It get said a lot but all you need to do is look and behave like any normal person or business would and ebay will never trouble you. Those who create low grade accounts selling dodgy wares will soon be sussed out and suspended. Just don't be the latter. :)

ebay expect to see active selling , if you sell just a few items you are at risk of getting a secondary suspension several months after opening selling account , if that suspension comes it will be final without appeal
