Account restriction removed???
 

just got this email from ebay saying my it was an error on there part and they reinstated my account, Its been suspended indefinitely since July, I tried to relist an item and its still saying my account is restricted, so don't know if i should wait 24hrs and see what happens. why do they even send these emails out, I am gonna contact the CEO and call him a liar to his face, I may end up contacting eBay also to see why they sent this.

instead of being a Dik to them how about calling them after trying again after 48 hours and see if they could rectify it.,

likely sent in error , I had such messages for suspended account as well a while ago , they just remained suspended

"Restored any hidden listings" ...nope, they do not restore listings once cancelled on a permanently suspended account nor have I even heard them referred to as 'hidden' before.

I've had accounts restored in the past and always been told that listing re-instatement is impossible. I've even has listings wrongly taken down, when I satisfied them it was an error they still say it can't be re-instated.

they can reinstate removed listings if these were not deleted but moved to unsold due to a restriction , in this case they can not be relisted but can be reinstated if account gets reinstated. they may also reinstate account without reinstating listings

You've got it the wrong way around. If a listing is moved to unsold they can be re-listed as a completely new entry, it cannot be re-instated - it has ended.

They will never re-appear on their site with the same listing number, product reviews, sales number data, product search rank etc.

Anyway, ebay have not re-instated OP's 'hidden' listings for them and never will.

I had it multiple times , items are moved to unsold and can not be relisted but can be reinstated and then relisted

new listing can be done too if restriction was removed but reinstated listing means that the old one can be relisted and new one does not need to be created
